Details:

Characters from the "Wars of the Roses" series of Shakespeare plays. Suit signs have been turned into cups (hearts), pike-heads (spades), roses (diamonds), and maces (clubs). Designed by Donald Burton. Originally issued to coincide with performances of this series of plays by the Royal Shakespeare Company.
